Since I was 14 I haven’t stopped being curious to discover advertising techniques, trends and I’ve been fascinated by the beauty of creating visual emotion to tell a story. The art of delivering visual messages through images, fonts and colors is something you can be born with, but it takes years of dedication and practice to refine the techniques and knowledge. I started working at a very young age, with 0 experience but lots of passion and the excitement to break through in the business world. I practically grew up in a printing company, in a little village where I was taught with kindness and patience the many meticulous processes of every step of printing design, and for which I am still grateful today.  After years of experience, learning, and interaction with hundreds of other business owners at the small company a friend asked me if I wanted to become the co-founder of his new advertising business. I saw a huge opportunity to grow and the chance to express my creativity at a broader level. So against my family’s will and disapproval regarding ” leaving an established and secure job position”, I ventured into the world of advertising and I started to dive into a fresh start that opened many more doors. At that point I could be free to express and create things that weren’t commissioned by others, and started designing logos, promotional material, banners, posters, and interacting with many, many people of all kinds of industries. Not only did I express my creativity, but I became tech savvy, mastering Adobe Suite; I was becoming an entrepreneur. While these were years of incredible professional satisfaction, and success I was offered once again the opportunity to be part of a team as a creative director for a major massage school, well-known national wide. With all the right tools in place, the experience, the knowledge and the strong drive I took this chance to work part-time at the new job and pass all my knowledge onto others by starting my own business and teaching graphic design & visual communication. I was more and more enthusiastic of all my achievements, until another turning point pleasantly hit my life again. I decided to move to London (actually a new romantic relationship unpredictably decided for me!) I had already worked with foreign companies, but I had become an entrepreneur and I wanted to see what the world had to offer. With no English, and a map of the “tube” of London I little by little made my way through this big city, got to learn  different approaches to business, and worked for important international companies. Now I meet more and more people from all over the world, I continue to thrive, and when I look back at where it all started I am amazed by all the amount of magical experiences I had and that are leading me towards the future, knowing that learning and improving never ends. Many times I found myself in a spot that I never would have taught I would be. And so with this in mind I am ready for my next adventure into the graphics’ world.
